Adrian Camm has won major awards in recent times for his innovative work, primarily with technology, including the Outstanding Secondary Teacher of the Year Awards for Victoria for 2010. In the recent Tech Talk Tuesdays’ session, he spoke about his teaching  career, some of the conferences that he has attended in recent months and his current position with Quantum Victoria where he is experimenting with games technology, augmented reality, virtual reality etc

Little Big Education

The guest presenter this week is Adrian Camm, who is an innovative, mutli-award winning teacher at both the national and state levels in Australia. Adrian won the coveted award for Outstanding Secondary Teacher for Victoria last year.

In this session, Adrian will talk about some of the great things he has been doing since this award, his current role, Quantum Victoria and the international conferences that he has attended. As part of his new role, Adrian will share some of the new technologies that he is working on  at Quantum Victoria eg augmented reality and the Little Big Planet 2 .

No matter what subject or year level, or area of education you are interested in, there will be something for you.

Learning Adventures

Adrian Camm was our thought provoking speaker this week. Prior to his presentation, the tips, tricks and treats produced this whiteboard screen dump for the participants. He used a term coined by Gary Stager:- Learning Adventures as his sessional heading.

 Adrian talked about different ways of learning and teaching, using techology to empower learning, with examples of use within his own school and classroom.
